Welcome to the Gorean Information Center

1. We are here to try to learn more about certain topics affecting Gorean Role-play. This room is NOT a social club, and such activity will be cause for a boot during the actual session.

2. Respect the Guest Speaker and everyone else in the room. There is a topic; stay on it and keep it civil. Boots will be applied to anyone not honoring this.

3. If you happen to disagree with something, you have two options: Either present your idea in a civil manner AFTER the Speaker has finished presenting and has opened the floor for discussion, or simply X out without drama. Tirades that disrespect the opinions of others will earn you a boot.

4. This is an OOC Center designed to further Gorean knowledge. There MAY be role-play posts during the presentations to show how something might be done (e.g., the movement of a slave's body while serving), but the room will be OOC. There will be no collaring, "shut up, slave," ball-grabbing, disrespectful eye rolling ('cuz it pisses me off), or anything else of the kind. See rule #2 for clarification.

5. No ghost codes allowed! This will make it possible for our Guest Speaker to actually find you on the pull-down when it comes time to answer your questions. Event Staff alone may wear ghost codes to indicate both their name and role within the room; for example: |Taltos|GIC RC|Gor Team|. Offenders will be given one warning to conform before being booted. Please note: Those scripting the event should turn off pics and use the Verbose feature.

6. ALL questions, comments, and discussions are not to deviate from the topic at hand, and side discussions are to be kept to private messages! If the current discussion inspires a side topic you think would be ideal for a discussion night in the future, you may send a private message to Taltos. Broaching your side discussion out loud will be considered a disruption. You will receive one warning before being booted.
